Young Rent Bonus (Catalonia)

The Generalitat runs the Young Rent Bonus (Bo Lloguer Jove) grants for young people aged up to 35 (inclusive) with limited means who rent or hold a transfer of use (home or room) as their habitual and permanent residence in Catalonia, or who are in a position to sign the contract. Requirements: living legally in Catalonia, being registered on the padrón at the rented home or room, owing no rent, and regular income not above €25,200 (for 2024, 2025 or 2026). The contract must be in the applicant's name and the rent may not exceed, in the Barcelona metropolitan area, €900 for a home or €450 for a room. The 2026 rent receipts must all be paid by transfer, direct debit, deposit, Bizum or a receipt from the property manager. The grant is €250 a month, capped at the rent. The 2026 call was open from 9 to 13 March 2026; it is not active now.
