Official Language Schools, EOI (Catalonia)

In Catalonia, pre-enrolment at the Official Language Schools (EOI), levels A1 to C1, is done online. You must turn 16 in the year you start, or be over 14 if you want to study a language different from the one you took in ESO. Pre-enrolment is free, but if you are admitted you must pay the enrolment fee. You can make only one pre-enrolment per language and at most two, in different languages, with two school options and up to four timetables in each, and you can ask to start in the first year or a higher one. For 2026-2027, first-period applications were submitted from 31 August to 7 September 2026, with no late applications accepted; to access a higher level there is a placement test or you submit certificates that exempt you from it. Dates for the second period (intensive and flexible courses) will be published by 14 December 2026 at the latest.
